Should I take part in 'Bible sharing'?
Basically, there is nothing wrong with it. If it stays at Bible sharing though, there is a lot wrong with it. The problem we face today is that Catholics don't know anymore what the Church teaches and what the Bible says. Therefore, Bible study (both individually on a daily basis and led by Church authorities) and sound catechesis are crucial for every Catholic and should be offered by priests, deacons and those appointed by the Bishops. If not, Bible sharing is close to being worthless - even dangerous when it leads people to believe that it is enough for their spiritual formation. It is not.
